Payments

  • Depending on your bank, Bounce transfers take 24-48 hours.

  • Bounce uses Stripe, a multi-billion dollar financial services company, to process all payments on the platform. Stripe is PCI compliant and uses AES-256 encryption – which is industry standard for the payments industry. All encryption and decryption of information is managed by Stripe. Bounce does not store any payment data on its servers.

  • Yes!

  • Use the “Request Refund” button by viewing your ticket. The host will decide if they will refund you or not. We cannot control the hosts’ policy. Please keep in mind that the Bounce platform does not support refunds after the event begins.

  • Yes!

Hosting

  • Click the document symbol on your event page to download an excel sheet with all your guest’s contact information.

  • Yes! You can refund guests up until the event start time. View the guest list on the app and press the “Refund” button.

  • Yes! Once you make your event private, only those with the shareable URL will be able to access it.

  • Click the share icon on your event page.

  • Absolutely! To add a promo code, go to your Event Settings and find the Discount Codes section. You can create a code for a percentage off, a fixed amount discount, or even a 100% discount for free tickets.

  • After the event ends, you will be paid within 5-8 business days.

Other

  • Bounce is a free-to-use platform. Anyone can sign up to host and attend events! If an event has paid tickets, a ticketing fee of $1.00, and a payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 will be applied to the ticket total. The event creator dictates whether the host or guest pays the per ticket fee.

    Bounce can also host free events. In this case, the host leverages the additional social and event management features on the app (ex. Newsfeed to create FOMO and ticket scanning at the event).

  • No, but you will need an account to purchase tickets.

  • Legal verification is required by law to ensure money is being sent and received by real people.

  • In order for the ticket to be valid, each ticket needs to be claimed by an individual owner. You can share your additional tickets with others by viewing them on the platform and sharing the shareable URL with your friends.
